I am contacting you on behalf of Wakefield Hospice. As you may be aware that we recently opened a new shop in the Charles Waterton community centre (located at The Grove, Walton, Wakefield, WF2 6LD) Hidden Gems is a Dress Agency offering a wide range of designer and premium high street clothing brands alongside new homeware, gifts and cards (festive range of goods coming soon).

In addition to the Dress Agency we have taken the opportunity to run the Bistro located within the library, and would love to hear your thoughts on our food options and possible takeaway services.

The Bistro will open on Tuesday 18th October 2022.

Both Hidden Gems and the Bistro will provide a new source of income for Wakefield Hospice as we look to diversify our income streams in light of the continued challenges faced in the current financial climate. Further opportunities are also being explored, such as the offering of a Complementary Therapy service, and we have also recently launched a Resilience Appeal to tackle these effects too, more information can be found online at www.wakefieldhospice.org/resilience-appeal

The following survey has been put together to help us understand what local people would like to see regarding the opening of the Bistro on Tuesday 18th October, and the potential offering of a Complementary Therapy service further down the line.
